Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Educational Data Science

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at the Society for Learning Analytics Research. The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of user studies using a computer-based learning environment designed to collect learning data as students solve data science problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct educational research studies using computer-based learning environments.
- Develop and implement complex analytical models using machine learning and data mining methodologies.
- Program entire data analysis workflows using R and standard data science packages and methodologies.
- Collaborate with the research team to design and implement user studies.
- Contribute to the development of research publications in journals and conferences.
Requirements:
- PhD (or be close to completing a doctoral degree) in Computer Science, Information Science, Learning Sciences, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields.
- Experience with planning, coordinating, and conducting educational research studies using computer-based learning environments.
- Strong track record of research publications in journals and conferences.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
