About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team at Choquette CKS, a leading provider of commercial kitchen equipment service in eastern Canada. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing commercial cooking equipment, including coffee machines, toasters, slicers, ranges, fryers, steamers, and combi-ovens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing and repairing commercial kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, including restaurants, cafes, and other food service establishments
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve service excellence and meet customer needs
  • Staying up-to-date with industry knowledge and best practices through ongoing training and professional development
  • Participating in on-call rotation and being available to work overtime as needed
Requirements
  • Education in appliance service or a related field is preferred
  • Valid trade license (G3, G2, G1, 313A, Red Seal) is a strong asset but not required
  • Related trade experience is an asset (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding/fabricating, mover, basic construction, etc.)
  • Experience working in the food service industry is preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license with a relatively clean driving record
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, accountable and self-driven
