Job Summary:
C.O.R.E. Services is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and apparatus in industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical System Installation: Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, including robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
- Apparatus Repair and Replacement: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus, including transformers, motors, VFDs, and lighting fixtures, and replace damaged or broken wires and cables.
- Electrical Component Replacement: Replace faulty electrical components, including relays, switches, and motors, and position sensing devices.
- PLC and VFD Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and program automated machinery, including palletizers.
- System Testing and Verification: Test electrical systems for malfunctions and verify repairs.
- Mechanical and Pneumatic Component Repair: Troubleshoot and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
- Health and Safety: Familiar with WHMIS, GMPs, and good health and safety work practices.
- Electrical System Knowledge: Good working knowledge of Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers and electrical systems.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and repair.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and apparatus.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
