About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at JIM & DON INVESTMENTS LTD. as a key member of our sales floor management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales floor staff, including cashiers, grocery clerks, and retail salespersons.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Assign sales workers to duties, authorize returns, and ensure excellent customer service standards are met.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient stockroom operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution: Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise in a fast-paced retail environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail sales or management role.
  • Work Setting: Rural area, retail business.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable, basic security clearance, and a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
