Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Moving Driver to join our team at Traditional Moving and Storage. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while safely transporting household goods and office furniture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service to all customers, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
  • Lead the moving crew and ensure all paperwork is accurately completed and received.
  • Safely operate a truck from point to point, performing routine checks and adhering to safe work policies.
  • Load and unload households, tag and list items, and pad and protect furniture in a timely manner.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner, complying with all company policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • A valid Ontario Class G license and good standing.
  • Prior experience in household moving, loading and unloading of household/office furniture and specialty freight.
  • Ability to work in the evening/night, during inclement weather, and in residential neighborhoods.
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

  • Drive a truck safely and efficiently.
  • Move boxes, furniture, and office equipment as required.
  • Bend, lift, turn, and carry items as needed.
Compensation

The rate for this position is $21.40/hr to $23.54/hr.
