Bakery/Deli Operations Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Bakery/Deli Manager to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a key member of our retail store operations team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to our bakery/deli team, ensuring the success of our department and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strong leadership and support to department team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure the highest standards of customer service satisfaction, responding to customer needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize, direct, and coordinate the operations of the department's team, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve budgeted goals, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
- Ensure merchandising, product, and facility image are at the highest standards, maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.
- Responsible for accounting and reporting procedures, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Practice team management and staff development activities, including full-cycle recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Assume responsibility for maintenance of competitive prices and initiating price checks, ensuring the best value for our customers.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
You will be leading a team of 14 individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and achieving their objectives. Our team fosters an environment that encourages growth, teamwork, and customer care.
