Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are working efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that all kitchen supplies are ordered and stocked as needed.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
- Staff Management: Recruit and hire staff, and organize buffets and banquets as required.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. The candidate will be required to work in a team environment, and will be expected to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
