About the Role

Meglab Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Mechanic to join our team. As a Fire Protection Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, repair, modification, and installation of sprinkler systems, including water, air, foam, gas, and fire pump equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and calibrate sprinkler systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Repair and modify sprinkler systems to meet specific requirements.
  • Install new sprinkler systems, including water, air, foam, gas, and fire pump equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent system failures.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of fire protection systems.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in fire protection or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of sprinkler systems, including water, air, foam, gas, and fire pump equipment.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
