Position Overview

The Insulation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing insulation projects and ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently and safely. This role involves managing a team of insulators and coordinating various tasks to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision: Directly supervise insulation workers and manage project workflows.
  • Coordination: Schedule and organize daily activities to optimize productivity.
  • Training: Facilitate apprenticeship training and provide guidance to new hires.
  • Recruitment: Participate in the hiring process and manage staffing requirements.
  • Cost Estimation: Assess project costs and material needs accurately.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Material Management: Order and requisition necessary materials and supplies.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate reliability in all aspects of their work.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the insulation industry.
Work Conditions

This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
