Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Pro Physio & Sport Medicine Centres Conroy. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physiotherapists with client care, including the use of ultrasound equipment, exercise programs, and other treatment modalities.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining accurate records and communicating with clients and healthcare professionals.
  • Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Collect and analyze outcome measure data to inform treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.
  • Maintain and clean/sterilize medical equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients.
  • Inventory and manage clinical supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working in a clinic setting, preferably in a physiotherapy or healthcare environment.
  • Personal and friendly demeanor, with excellent relationship-building skills and a patient-centered approach.
  • PTA diploma or Kinesiology degree preferred, but not required.
