Culinary Supervisor

As a vital member of our culinary team at 902776 N.W.T. Limited, the Sous-Chef plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. This position requires a blend of creativity, leadership, and culinary expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Food Management: Oversee and maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to optimize kitchen efficiency.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze operating costs and other relevant data to improve profitability.
- Culinary Preparation: Prepare and cook meals regularly, catering to special events and guest requirements.
- Menu Planning: Design and plan menus that adhere to quality standards and cater to diverse dietary needs.
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and train kitchen staff, ensuring they are well-versed in food preparation and safety protocols.
- Supervision: Supervise the activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, and cooks to maintain high culinary standards.
- Client Consultation: Engage with clients to discuss catering for weddings, banquets, and other special functions.
- Equipment Oversight: Arrange for the purchase and repair of kitchen equipment as necessary.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience in a culinary environment.
