About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. As an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including slope stability, mining, and foundation investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct geotechnical and geo-environmental projects, including field investigations, data interpretation, and technical report writing.
  • Work on or manage projects of various sizes, providing technical input, mentorship, and support to junior staff.
  • Collaborate with the materials testing department to provide geotechnical engineering assistance and supervise field programs.
  • Prepare technical reports, contribute to the proposal process, and liaise with clients as required.
Requirements
  • Completion of a bachelor's degree in civil or geological engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Postgraduate degree in geotechnical engineering is an asset.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with the Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba.
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical engineering experience relevant to geotechnical projects.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with experience in report writing and proposal writing.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a genuine desire to mentor and develop individuals and teams.
  • Unrestricted Class 5 Driver's License valid in Manitoba.
