This opportunity is for our production centre, where you will be responsible for managing the manufacturing process, including mixing, filling, and packaging. You will also be responsible for supporting efficiency and key performance indicators, as well as managing overall product quality to meet all standards and specifications.
Responsibilities- Manage a team of production employees, including scheduling, absences, staffing, training, evaluation, and development.
- Support efficiency and key performance indicators, including continuous improvement principles and methodology tools.
- Understand and manage the manufacturing process, including mixing, filling, and packaging.
- Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures or shutdowns that have resulted in downtime.
- Manage overall product quality to meet all standards and specifications.
- Generate production reports and work in synergy with other departments, including logistics, maintenance, and quality.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of four (4) years' experience in a unionized manufacturing and production environment, with a minimum of two (2) years as a direct supervisor of a team.
- Experience in cleaning and sanitation would be considered an asset.
- Bilingualism in French and English.
- Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), health and safety standards, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), and ISO standards.
- Excellent knowledge of continuous improvement principles and methodology tools for problem-solving and leadership performance.
- Intermediate computer and database skills; SAP is an asset.
