About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced High School Teacher to join our team at J. Addison School Inc. as a key member of our academic community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging lesson plans, ensuring alignment with our school's curriculum standards.
  • Classroom Instruction: Deliver high-quality instruction to students, utilizing a range of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and administer assessments to measure student progress, providing constructive feedback to support student growth.
  • Student Support: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, providing guidance and support to students as needed.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a collaborative and supportive team dynamic.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of teaching experience, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, initiative, interpersonal awareness, and the ability to work in a team environment.
