Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team at U-Haul. As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Inspecting and maintaining buildings to ensure they are safe and functional
- Performing general maintenance, installation, and repairs to equipment and systems
- Working with hand/power tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Collaborating with other technicians to share knowledge and best practices
- Completing work requests promptly to meet the needs of our customers
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing, or landscaping to bring valuable skills to our team
- A valid driver's license to ensure safe transportation
- D.O.T certification which can be sponsored by U-Haul
Work Environment:
The work involves moderate risk and may require safety precautions such as protective gear.
Physical Demands:
The work requires physical exertion and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
