Emergency Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our interprofessional care team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare.
- Work collaboratively with the interprofessional care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of applicable post-graduate coursework in emergency nursing or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions.
