Job Title: Student Supervisor - Noon Hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and caring individual to fill the position of Student Supervisor - Noon Hour at School District #22 (Vernon). As a Noon Hour Student Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during school lunch times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and supervise students during school lunch times
- Deal with minor first-aid cases as required
- Report incidents and complete required incident reports
- Direct students and maintain a safe and orderly environment
Requirements:
- Grade 10 education
- Six (6) months previous experience in dealing with children, such as volunteering or parenting
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position, working one hour per day, five hours per week, during the school year. Services will not be required on In-Service and Non-Instructional Days.
Compensation:
The hourly rate of pay is $25.45, plus a percentage in lieu of vacation and statutory holiday pay.
Union Affiliation:
This is a union position, CUPE Local 5523.
