Crisis Worker - Crisis Intervention Services
Permanent Part Time
Mackenzie Health is seeking a dedicated Crisis Worker to enhance our team by delivering psychiatric evaluations and consultations across diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish connections to necessary services and support systems.
- Provide care that is centered around patients and their families.
- Oversee the intake process while offering leadership within the team.
- Collaborate with colleagues and community organizations.
- Engage with an inter-professional team to ensure comprehensive client care.
- Address inquiries from clients and their caregivers.
- Develop and implement strategies aimed at facilitating positive change.
- Coordinate services with a focus on recovery-oriented practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in nursing or a Master's degree in Social Work.
- Registration with the appropriate professional organization.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Mental Health field.
- Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques.
- Competence in computer applications.
- Capability to operate effectively in a culturally diverse setting.
- Strong commitment to the safety of patients and staff.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is an asset.
* This position may require flexibility to work at various locations.
