YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be the central figure of the salon, overseeing all operational aspects and equipping your team with the necessary tools for success. By exemplifying best practices, you will assist your team in expanding their clientele and enhancing business performance. Your focus will be on the salon's profitability while educating stylists on the intricacies of business management. You will lead by example, providing all hair care services offered and ensuring the highest standards of quality for every client. Acting as a coach and mentor, you will inspire salon staff to reach their full potential, fostering a consistently positive work atmosphere. You will be responsible for recruitment, training, and effectively managing conflicts and customer concerns with professionalism.

You exemplify leadership, prioritize customer service, and can address challenges with professionalism. You have the ability to inspire others by being a role model in training, developing your team, creating a supportive work environment, and providing guidance on both business and technical matters while keeping the salon's financial health in focus. You hold a valid cosmetology or barber license as mandated by state/provincial regulations. You are willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. You are proficient with technology and can handle administrative tasks, including closing out the system at the end of the day. You possess basic literacy and numeracy skills. You are available for mandatory meetings and training sessions, which may require overnight travel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

You must have good vision to assess a client's hair, including close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. If you enjoy being active, this role allows for movement; you will be standing, lifting, and reaching. You should be comfortable with lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks, occasionally lifting 10-25 lbs. The use of chemicals and fragrances is part of our services, and you should be comfortable with these elements.
