Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Research Assistant to contribute to a significant project focused on gender equity in youth sports. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about promoting inclusivity and fairness in athletic environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the research team in developing comprehensive reports aimed at stakeholders and community organizations.
  • Conduct thematic content analysis of qualitative data, including semi-structured interviews and media coverage.

Qualifications

  • Completion of relevant coursework with a strong academic record.
  • Familiarity with research ethics and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Canva or Adobe Illustrator.
  • Ability to translate complex information into visual formats.
  • Experience or connection with the 2SLGBTQI+ community.
  • Knowledge of baseball or softball is advantageous.
