About the Role

Lycopodium Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Officer to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for managing contracts and ensuring compliance with project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Development and Management: Develop and update contract terms and conditions, contract structures, and ensure compliance with project contracting and contract management plans.
  • Contract Administration: Ensure that contract management activities are conducted to the highest quality, ethical, and general business standard.
  • Claims and Dispute Resolution: Assist in the resolution of claims, pending matters, or disputes with contractors to ensure timely and effective closure of all contracts.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the contracts team personnel from an operational perspective and represent the project team in all contracts-related issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in law or another related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years' experience in the contracts area, with extensive knowledge of contract management, arbitration, construction/project law, claims, change orders, mediation, commercial/contractual close-out of project, etc.
  • Skills: Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, with consistently high degree of accuracy and producing a high quality of deliverables. Effective communication skills to meet targets.
