Position Overview

As a Culinary Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions of our kitchen, ensuring that our culinary team operates efficiently and effectively. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 80 hours bi-weekly.

Work Environment

This role is set within a restaurant environment, where you will be responsible for managing kitchen staff and maintaining high standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules.
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Compile and submit reports as required.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the head chef.
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish work schedules for kitchen staff.
Supervisory Duties

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals, including kitchen and food service helpers.

Transportation Requirements

Having your own transportation is necessary for this position.

Work Conditions
