Job Title: Server

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Hot Mama Noi's Thai on the Fly Inc. as a Server.

Job Summary:

The Server will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
  • Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Advise on menu selections
  • Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
  • Describe and advise on wine selection
  • Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • Serve food and beverages
  • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
  • Provide customer service
Work Environment:

The Server will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of 1 to 10 people, in an urban area with public transportation available.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
