Job Title: Project Quality Manager - Canada Infra

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough reviews of project proposals and identifying potential discrepancies.
  • Evaluating and scrutinizing bids to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Sourcing competitive pricing from a range of suppliers to optimize project budgets.
  • Formulating effective methodologies for project execution.
  • Developing and maintaining project timelines using project management software.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to refine designs and reduce costs.
  • Assisting in the preparation of technical and commercial documentation.
  • Ensuring adherence to contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Providing support to project teams and handling administrative tasks.
  • Monitoring project expenditures and progress against established benchmarks.
  • Upholding quality standards and ensuring compliance with project plans.
  • Updating project documentation to reflect actual progress.
  • Managing technical communications and quality assurance documentation.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience (minimum 2-5 years).
  • Membership in the Quebec Order of Engineers (Ingénieur/Ingénieur junior) is an advantage.
  • Experience in the construction or quality assurance sectors.
  • Technical project management skills are a plus.
  • Ability to interpret engineering plans is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., MS Office, MS Project).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a quick learning aptitude.
  • Excellent organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
  • Fluency in French, with English proficiency considered an asset.
