Job Title: Project Quality Manager - Canada Infra

  • Conducting thorough reviews of tender documents to identify discrepancies and issues.
  • Evaluating and scrutinizing quotes in detail.
  • Soliciting pricing from various vendors to secure optimal deals.
  • Formulating effective work methodologies for designated tasks.
  • Crafting project timelines utilizing MS Project.
  • Collaborating with engineering firms to refine plans and reduce costs.
  • Aiding in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
  • Ensuring adherence to project contractual obligations.
  • Providing administrative support and assistance to the project team.
  • Monitoring site expenditures and project progress.
  • Upholding project quality standards and compliance with established plans.
  • Updating as-built project documentation.
  • Managing technical correspondence and quality documentation.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience (minimum 2-5 years).
  • Membership in the Quebec Order of Engineers (Ingénieur/Ingénieur junior) is advantageous.
  • Background in construction or quality assurance is preferred.
  • Technical project management experience is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in software applications (Office Suite, MS Project).
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and quick adaptability.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Proactive and self-sufficient approach.
  • Willingness to travel within Quebec.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
  • Fluency in French; proficiency in English is an asset.
