What We Do
Our team of skilled Security Systems Technicians is responsible for troubleshooting and servicing intrusion, IP CCTV, access control, and alarm systems from multiple manufacturers. They possess strong verbal communication skills, identifying customer needs and informing them of next steps and processes to repair systems as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Locate and resolve issues with damaged equipment or wiring.
- Readjust, repair, or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.
- Perform installation, repair, and/or inspection of intrusion detection, IP CCTV, access control systems, and alarm systems.
- Assist fellow service technicians with system repairs and complete minor repairs, including battery replacement.
- Test system operation to the customer monitoring center to establish service connectivity.
- Complete all forms accurately and customer paperwork as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the security or fire industry.
- Excellent general knowledge of major security manufacturer platforms, including Bosch/Radionics, Honeywell, DMP, DSC, etc.
- Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass thorough background and identity checks.
- Willingness to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting.
- Open to working out of town, overtime, and participating in on-call rotations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools.
- Ability to unload ladder from fleet vehicle and climb ladder.
- Ability to always operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner.
- Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to obtain a Reliability Security Clearance.
