About the Role

Brandt is seeking a skilled Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team in Brossard Construction & Forestry. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our commercial heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance services on commercial heavy equipment at customer sites, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Identify and Report Issues: Identify and report any additional items that require follow-up service work by a heavy-duty technician, ensuring prompt attention to any equipment issues.
  • Accurate Reporting: Ensure the accurate capture and reporting of PM service checklist, inspection, and work order information for the benefit of customer reporting.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in contributing to a service-oriented environment, working directly with customers and equipment operators is essential.
  • Strong Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, equipment operators, and other stakeholders.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work after-hours and/or participate in shift-work as required to support customer needs.
  • Driver's Abstract: A recent driver's abstract will be required.
  • Truck Class 3: Truck Class 3 is required.
  • Lifting Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade Experience: Candidates with trade experience to a second- or third-year apprentice level are encouraged to apply.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Must have experience operating, servicing, and/or maintaining agricultural, automotive, or heavy equipment.
