Job Title: Service Technician

Reinhausen Canada is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in Brossard, Quebec. As a Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our power supply systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance, servicing, and repair of on-load tap-changers and transformers for power supply companies and industrial customers.
  • Pre-plan service jobs to be carried out, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Assess and resolve problems related to Load Tap-Changer units, Power Transformer accessories, and equipment.
  • Propose and recommend additional solutions to customers to improve asset reliability.
  • Create technical service reports and forward them to the Service Manager.
  • Support the company's development strategy by taking on additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Skilled worker with appropriate experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (< 2 years).
  • Enjoy practical and challenging hands-on tasks in the electrical/mechanical field.
  • Ideal candidate has experience in the maintenance and repair of on-load tap-changers or transformers.
  • Experience with digitalization in the industrial environment and ability to inspire customers with it.
  • Detailed and independent work style.
  • Reliability and customer orientation are essential.
  • Fluent in French and English language (read/written/spoken).
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Availability to travel (approximately 70%).
  • Commitment to Health and Safety.
  • Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident.
