We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare, providing high-quality nursing care to our residents in the Port Hope area.
Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practices to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in assigned home areas.
- Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Manage medications, narcotics, and protocols on assigned shifts.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Practice.
- Medical Clearance, including TB tests, and Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
All staff are required to adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols and wear a mask at all times.
