What is the opportunity?
The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a Branch Operations Leader to enhance our team in a pivotal role. This position is essential in providing operational and administrative assistance to the Branch Management Team and Advisors. The Branch Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing client account activities, ensuring adherence to compliance standards, and fulfilling a multifaceted role that includes collaboration with internal departments, delivering software and process training, and managing branch facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the vision set by the Branch Director, ensuring the branch operates efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee daily administrative functions of the branch, including the approval of transactions, verification of requests from sales support staff, and documentation review for account openings.
- Facilitate training for new branch support personnel and coordinate ongoing training for existing staff.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Manage branch technology access, setup, and troubleshooting.
- Support sales operations within the branch.
Qualifications for Success
Essential Requirements
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH).
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional demeanor that fosters a positive work environment.
- Capability to work independently, proactively seeking solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures is advantageous.
- Experience in the securities industry is a plus.
