About the Role

Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre is seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to join our team. As an online instructor, you will work with students in an online environment and be the primary point of contact for our learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality online instruction to students in grades K-12
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Communicate effectively with parents and students through various channels
  • Utilize technology to support teaching and learning, including Clevr, Moodle, and MySchoolSask
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve the mission and vision of the Sask DLC
Requirements
  • Valid teaching certification and experience in Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced online environment
  • Experience with online teaching platforms and technologies
