About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Custodian at G & E Janitorial. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent litter and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Work Environment: Work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, and kneeling are required to perform job duties.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Hours of Work: 20-30 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
