Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at NPA WorldWide. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes through effective maintenance and repair of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Prioritizing safety by adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Enhancing operational efficiency by identifying and implementing improvements in equipment maintenance and production systems.
  • Collaborating with production staff to troubleshoot and resolve production and quality challenges.
  • Conducting predictive and preventative maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Documenting maintenance activities accurately, including work orders and quality assurance records.
  • Taking initiative in repairs, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Performing welding and machining tasks as required.
  • Diagnosing and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Responding swiftly to service calls and work orders to reduce operational interruptions.
  • Managing inventory by logging parts and materials as needed.
  • Upholding internal quality control measures.
  • Reporting unsafe conditions or practices to management.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development.
  • Coordinating maintenance tasks with supervisors to optimize workflow.
  • Utilizing hoisting and lifting equipment to assist in machinery installation and repairs.
  • Inspecting machinery to identify and address malfunctions.
  • Assembling equipment prior to installation using various tools and welding techniques.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned to support the organization's success.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A valid Industrial Millwright Certificate 433A.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a millwright capacity.
  • Proficiency in welding, minor fabrication, and rigging techniques.
  • A solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with general-purpose machine shop equipment.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
