About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team at Laser Template Inc. in a key role that will drive industrial and commercial investment in rural and urban areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement policies to promote business investment and economic growth in targeted areas.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor professional and support staff to ensure effective delivery of business development initiatives.
  • Program Administration: Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial investment, including market research and analysis.
  • Business Development: Respond to enquiries from businesses and provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval of development proposals.
  • Market Research: Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers.
  • Area Profiling: Develop social and economic profiles of areas to encourage industrial and commercial investment.
  • Marketing Strategies: Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products.
  • Proposal Evaluation: Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals.
  • Research Design: Design market research questionnaires and conduct quantitative and qualitative research projects.
  • Feasibility Studies: Develop feasibility studies for business investment opportunities.
  • Database Management: Maintain a database of potential franchisees, real estate locations, and online buy/sell platforms.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop marketing strategies to promote business investment and economic growth.
  • Business Licensing: Ensure that all necessary business licenses are in place.
  • Presentation Skills: Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia to promote business investment and economic growth.
Requirements
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, flexible, organized, reliable, and a team player.
