- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, to construct and repair buildings and structures.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems, ensuring stability and safety.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, requiring attention to detail and precision.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures, including wooden structures in various settings, such as mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
- Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments, with frequent handling of heavy loads.
- We are looking for a reliable and accurate individual who can work effectively in a team environment.
- Will train the successful candidate to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.
- This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week, with the primary language of communication being English.
