Job Title: Ballroom Dance Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ballroom Dance Teacher to join our team at Arthur Murray Dance School.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching ballroom dance techniques and artistic interpretation to students of all levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ballroom dance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach ballroom dance techniques and artistic interpretation to students of all levels
  • Prepare students for auditions and performances
  • Exercise to maintain physical ability and physical fitness
  • Practice and rehearse dance routines
  • Train to maintain high levels of technical proficiency
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in ballroom dance teaching
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a private functions, cultural events, dance academy or school, national dance school or company, sales, and dance company setting.
