About the Role

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Assistant to join our Primary Care Network team in North Vancouver, BC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and clerical medical office support to ensure the smooth operation of the Primary Health Care Clinic/Program.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, scheduling, and communication with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 diploma.
  • Graduation from a Medical Office Assistant program.
  • One year of recent, related clinical medical office support experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Working knowledge of clinical policies, procedures, and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
