Warehouse Traffic Administrator

Compensation: $20/hr DOE
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM
As a vital member of our operations, you will be responsible for managing records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Your role will involve planning and directing driver assignments, which includes checking them in, assigning loading docks, and ensuring their timely departure upon completion of their tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for delivery drivers.
- Receive, count, and document cash transactions from carriers as necessary.
- Collaborate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of shipping and receiving documentation.
- Verify and count products to ensure data integrity within our systems.
- Inform carriers and relevant team members about any pending, no-show, or unscheduled arrivals.
- Engage with drivers to reschedule appointments when required.
- Input data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) scheduler.
Additional Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):
- Basic math skills may be necessary at certain facilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external customers; proficiency in English may be required.
- Proficient in computer applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions, from cold storage environments to warmer dry storage areas, while utilizing provided personal protective equipment.
- Capability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs., with weight requirements varying by facility.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends if necessary.
- Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels.
