Job Summary

Purolator is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team based in Mississauga, Ontario. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying infrastructure in the cloud, ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement automated deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues with our cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with serverless computing using AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
  • Experience with cloud security tools such as AWS IAM and Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and ELK Stack.
