Project Manager - Hydroelectric Innovation

As a world leader in hydroelectric turbine design, Andritz Hydro Canada is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. With over 170 years of experience in the industry, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of projects from design to construction, ensuring timely completion within budget and to the satisfaction of clients.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including risk management, resource allocation, and communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery, including engineering, procurement, and site operations.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, technical specifications, quality, and health & safety standards.
  • Perform risk & opportunity evaluations, identifying potential financial variances and suggesting contingency plans to mitigate risks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in heavy industry projects, preferably in hydroelectricity or energy production.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
  • Excellent leadership and team spirit, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in French and English.
  • Availability to travel, as necessary.
