Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Shipper to join our team at Valu Shred. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and organizing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Planning: Develop and implement effective logistics plans to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and materials.
  • Warehouse Management: Oversee the daily operations of our warehouse, including inventory management, stock control, and shipping and receiving.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and other departments within the organization.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems in a timely and effective manner, minimizing disruptions to our operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
  • Skills: Inventory control software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

Our warehouse is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
