Job Summary
CEDA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Leak Seal Technician to join our team in Fort McMurray. As a key member of our Leak Repair department, you will be responsible for sealing leaks and repairing piping systems and vessels.
Key Responsibilities
- Seal leaks and repair piping systems and vessels
- Corrosion protection repair
- Line freeze
- Hot tap
- Control bolt
- Test and pipe isolations
- Cold cutting
- Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor-intensive capacity
- Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment
- Leave the job site in better condition than when you arrived
- Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in leak repair
- Class 5 license with clean driver's abstract
- Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions
- Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Personal Qualities
- Safety-focused when it comes to people and equipment
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to prioritize and initiate innovative solutions
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with small and pneumatic tools
