Job Title: Senior Leak Seal Technician

CEDA is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Leak Seal Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, year-round position located in Fort McMurray, with the possibility of travel to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Seal leaks and repair piping systems and vessels
  • Corrosion protection repair
  • Line freeze
  • Hot tap
  • Control bolt
  • Test and pipe isolations
  • Cold cutting
  • Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labour-intensive capacity
  • Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment
  • Leave the job site in better condition than when we arrived. Clean, safe, and job done.
  • Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
Requirements:
  • Sr. Leak Seal Technician status (4+ experience with leak sealing) required
  • Class 5 licence with clean driver's abstract
  • Work outdoors in harsh weather conditions
  • Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Personal Characteristics:
  • You are safety-focused when it comes to people and equipment
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to prioritize and initiate innovative solutions
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable with small and pneumatic tools
  • Flexible schedule and able to work day or night shifts, some travel is required
