Job Title: Administrative Officer

Alberta Corp. is seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team. As an Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Delegate work to office support staff to ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including data entry and payroll administration.
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services.
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week.
