Job Title: Glass Installation Specialist

M&A United Glazing Inc. is seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing glass and other materials in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine Type of Glass and Materials Required: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of glass and materials needed for each project.
  • Measure, Mark, and Cut Glass: Measure and mark glass for cutting, and then cut it to the required size using specialized tools.
  • Position and Secure Panes in Frame: Position glass panes in frames and secure them using adhesives, clips, or other fastening methods.
  • Assemble and Install Prefabricated Glass, Mirrors, or Glass Products: Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products according to manufacturer instructions.
  • Install Door, Window, and Other Hardware: Install door, window, and other hardware, such as hinges, handles, and locks.
  • Repair Glass Doors and Other Glass Structures: Repair glass doors, windows, and other glass structures using specialized tools and techniques.
  • Work at Heights: Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to install glass and other materials.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in glass installation or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
