About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading by example and inspiring your colleagues to deliver exceptional food and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance and support to your team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Culinary Excellence: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency, while continuously improving our menu offerings.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management: Effectively manage inventory levels, ordering, and receiving procedures to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with front-of-house staff, management, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Performance Management and Development: Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching and feedback, and develop training programs to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven track record of success as a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a similar environment.
  • Culinary Skills: Passion for food and culinary excellence, with a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and nurture relationships, demonstrate strong team leadership, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation is a must.
