Scope of the Position:

Responsible for providing and presenting quotations to customers for various products and/or projects, and forwarding to the Sales Department for follow-up.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize quotation requests as they are requested by customers.
  • Communicate with vendors and request pricing for required products.
  • Update records for each project quoted.
  • Update the calendar of projects to be quoted for communication to sales reps and vendors.
  • Filling in order sheets so they are clear for project administrators to process (for purchase orders received by customers).
  • Respond to questions and/or inquiries and provide information pertaining to products or projects being quoted.
  • Prepare bids on projects.
  • Manage contracts the Company has entered into.
  • Participate in customer meetings and/or supplier meetings as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Training:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • University/College Diploma an asset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

Experience:

  • Up to 3 years related experience.
  • Product knowledge or industry experience preferred.

Please note that, while not expected, the company may pay at a rate outside of the range for this role where appropriate. Actual compensation commensurate with the candidate's experience, education, internal parity, role complexity, role level, and other relevant factors. The advertised salary range relates to British Columbia and is provided in accordance with the BC Pay Transparency Act. We recognize, however, that salaries are often driven by market forces in the local area where a candidate is based and accordingly the salary range may not apply outside of British Columbia.
