Position Overview

The Agricultural Operations Supervisor at CROP DEFENDERS LTD. plays a crucial role in overseeing various farm activities and ensuring the smooth operation of agricultural processes.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of farm safety and bio-security protocols.
  • Maintain comprehensive financial and production documentation.
  • Engage in negotiations with clients regarding service provisions.
  • Deliver agricultural crop services, including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of general farm workers and harvesting laborers.
  • Ensure adherence to farm safety and bio-security measures.
  • Oversee quality control and maintain production records.
  • Supervise breeding programs and other livestock-related initiatives.
  • Manage growing operations and other crop-related tasks.
  • Recruit and train staff members.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment efficiently.
  • Perform general farm duties as required.
  • Maintain the bee yard and manage beekeeping equipment.
