Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role is tasked with delivering expert guidance and services in employee relations to effectively address the workforce needs of Carewest Innovative Healthcare.
This position supervises the grievance procedure and provides direction to legal advisors in the management of arbitration and other legal issues for both unionized and non-union staff.
By analyzing and developing data, the role observes trends and risks, pinpointing significant issues and opportunities for enhancement in our Labour Relations strategy.
A university degree in Labour Relations/Human Resources or a related discipline is required, or a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Labour Relations and/or Human Resources.
A valid driver's license is necessary.
Comprehensive knowledge of employment and labour-related legislation, labour relations jurisprudence, principles, and practices is essential, along with a solid understanding of contemporary trends and practices in Human Resources management.
