Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Edith's Help - Caregivers Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our urban area facilities. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, making beds, and changing sheets.

Additionally, the Light Duty Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, picking up debris, and emptying trash containers. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in an urban area
  • Availability to work 30 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
